Our Story: Senior year in High School Adam and Eric attended welding class at the local area career center. The instructor of the Class was Brian Mikesell. Brian set high standards for his students, he taught the class not only how to weld but how to be successful in life. Going through the class Adam and Eric created the dream of starting their own welding business. 

 

After High School Adam and Eric used each other as an advantage to learn more about welding and becoming entrepreneurs. Adam chose to further his education in welding and attended Hobart Institute of Welding in Troy Ohio. The welding program lasted 9 months. After graduation Adam started working for a aerospace company welding parts for combustion turbine engines. Eric went his way to acquire the knowledge of running a business. Eric attended Indiana University of Kokomo graduating with a bachelor degree in Business Management.

In the spring of 2017, Adam and Eric met with the Small Business Development Center in Kokomo to get the ball rolling on creating a business. From a small dream in High School, Shepherd Brothers Custom Welding and Fabrication is now a reality.
